The Doğa College British Academy 6th Form Centre

The Doğa College British Academy is the first English school in North Cyprus to identify a need for a 6th Form Centre.

This is a highly significant development because, previously, parents of children seeking A level education have had to source alternative sixth form provision by :

1. Segregating the family by sending their son or daughter to the UK to stay with friends and relatives.

2. Moving back themselves, to enable their child to take further studies in the UK because there was no alternative offered here in the past.

3. Seeking a Sixth form college in the South of Cyprus.

 

Our diverse programme allows students to choose from the following range of Advanced Level subjects:

The A level programme is open to our own pupils upon completion of their IGCSE studies and external students who recognize the value of continuing their education post 16.

As and A2 Level examination courses commence in September 2011.

The Academy is an officially accredited examination centre for both Edexcel and CIE exam boards

We have also taken into consideration that our 6th Form Students are young adults and are treated as such.

Therefore, like any specialist 6th Form centre in the UK our students have certain privilege's
They do not wear uniform and they have their own common room for non-contact time.

Facilities include:
