
Seeking Teachers for our Early Years, Junior and Senior Departments
Due to re-organisation at the The Doğa College British Academy, opportunities have arisen for teaching positions within our Early Years, Junior and Senior sections. This thriving international school is located on the beautiful northern slopes the Kyrenia mountain range and offers education for children aged 3 – 18. We are looking for teachers with proven experience of current best practice in teaching and learning of the National Curriculum of England and Wales (together with strengths in one or more areas of the curriculum which may be open for coordination posts).
The Doğa College British Academy was opened in 2001 and has grown to a pupil population of over 200 students from over 15 nationalities whilst maintaining a caring family feel. The school is looking to appoint a number of excellent teachers to lead the school forward.
- hold a degree and qualified teaching status (BEd, QTS PGCE or equivalent)
- have at least 3 years recent UK teaching experience.
- are willing to contribute to extra curriculum activities and school events
- have knowledge of working with children from different international backgrounds (TESOL/TEFL qualification would be an advantage but not essential)
- are enthusiastic and willing to rise to a challenge.
- are forward thinking and can contribute to the further development of the school.
